Toque’s Private Chef Personnel Service
Should you be interested in hiring a private chef then please consider our Private Chef Personnel Service. This service is driven by the singular goal of finding you an able and ready chef who suits your preferences. Toque, on your behalf, takes charge of all the Pre-employment, Training, and Orientation Activities involved in hiring your private chef. We even require that all private chefs hired through this service complete our Orientation & Training course. We are so confident in our chef selection procedures and training that we fully guarantee your chef for one year and provide an option for yearly guarantee extensions. Toque performs the following activities as part of our Personnel Service:
Pre-Employment Activities: Chef Recruitment, Applicant Screening, Initial Interviews, Criminal Background Checks, Sex Offender Registry Checks, Credit Checks, Work History and Reference Checks, Candidate Selection and Preparation, Arranging Test Meals and Introductions, and Document Development including Job Descriptions, Terms of Employment, Household Policies and Rules of Conduct.
Private Chef Orientation & Private Chef Training: Client Specific Training and Orientation, Social Etiquette, Formal Table and Beverage Service, Event Planning and Catering Training, Food and Wine Pairing, Wine Cellar Management
Toque’s Personnel Service charges a one-time service fee of 8% of your chef’s annual salary; a significant discount to our competition. Please check for yourself online: Private Chef Inc. (PCI) charges 15%; International Domestic Placement Group charges 10%.
Toque’s Private Chef Luxe Experience
Toque’s Private Chef Luxe Experience offers all-day exclusive service from one of Toque’s Private Chefs for a specified duration; a perfect gift for the luxury lover in your life or practical service during a family vacation. The Private Chef Luxe Experience is purchased on a per-person-per-day basis. The fees are inclusive of all costs of the service including all menu items and meal ingredients, table settings when necessary, chef travel and lodging when necessary, and additional staff when necessary. Fees range from $1800.00 to $7600.00.
The service typically involves three (3) full-service dining experiences per day: one (1) breakfast, (1) lunch, (1) dinner. However, Toque will tailor the service to meet your specific needs or desires. In addition to meal service Toque’s Private Chef prepares snacks to enjoy between meals and serves hors d’ourves before each evening’s dinner. Toque’s Private Chef procures all ingredients, prepares each meal from starch, sets the table, serves drinks and the meal, and clean up afterwards. Should additional staff be appropriate then Toque will arrange for a professional waiter or bartender. Prior to the beginning of your Experience Toque consults with you on menu selection, dietary guidelines and preferences, wine and beverage service, and meal schedule.
